Customer “Co-Packing Center” is a dynamically developing production company in the field of co-packing and co-manufacturing. Current situation As any enterprise in the period of its active growing “Co-Packing Center” realized the importance of information component in business management and the necessity of its development. The importance of solution of the above problem has also been confirmed by such objective factors as: the absence of the unified organizational structure, the complexity of organizing and conducting of managing control, the impossibility of completing of exact calculating and analysis of cost value of the company products, as well as the absence of production planning instruments. It is clear, that creating a unified corporate information system became one of conditions, necessary to provide further growing of the country, as well as allowing to retain its competitive advantages. Solution choice “Co-Packing Center” administration has chosen SAP Business All-in-One. The project implementation was to be done by SAP partner – “ALPE Consulting”. The implementation of SAP Business All-in-One solution was supposed to unite all company subdivisions into one information space, to create opportunities of control and correction of key business processes and to provide with some extra instruments for analysis of the company activity. In order to retain the competitive advantage it was necessary to optimize the processes of manufacturing planning and control at the enterprise. The main factor that has affected the choice was the fact, that the solution, offered by “ALPE Consulting” is implemented on fixed terms, has a fixed price and meets current and possible future needs of the enterprise. Implementation (process) The project implementation was carried out in accordance with the methodology of SAP solutions implementation for average and small business. The project consisted of the following steps: - analysis of demands for additional settings and creating a list of deficiencies;
- installations and setting of the system;
- training for users, based on the real information;
- solution testing;
- data migration;
- commercial operation of the solution.
Due to the usage of SAP Best Practices and ASAP Focus methodology the implementation of the solution is done on very short terms – 4 months (usually it takes not less than 9 months). Results A total number of 20 users, such as those involved into the productive process, accounting, purchase and sales, planning departments, warehouses staff were trained and started working with the system.
